four 18 and 19 year olds setting out to make a difference and find out more about our true Faith callings in life.

God has been calling Abby, Devin, Erin, and I (Wade) to go out and do something different. See, so often we get caught up in our daily routine, stuck in the rut of the status quo. It was just after Easter this year when we received this encouragement to change up our lives a little bit. Ever since then we have been praying, asking God to guide us and support us to do His will. As prayers began to be answered, we saw God open up the doors for us to go on a Faith-based Road Trip. Now this plan had been and still is somewhat fuzzy, but over the past two months, GOD has shown us His amazing power and reminded each one of us how important it is to trust HIM! We needed money. BAM! $500 off the bat. We needed parental support... and got a car out of the deal! What an adventure it has been to trust God to provide what we need!
On June 29, the four of us are going to be heading off on a 15 day adventure. We are starting off in Elgin, IL (Abby's Hometown). From there we are going to Colorado Springs, CO. There we are going to aid churches with ongoing needs such as clean-up, Vacation Bible School, and small projects. We are also going to stop by soup kitchens, rescue missions, and other similar venues. To view more on our tentative trip schedule, see the Travel Itinerary.
Now this trip is being helped by the support of many other people, as you know. This trip would not be possible without our sponsors having faith in us to spread the faith! Here is a link to some of the correspondences that have been made back and forth with different people.

Hi Wade, Erin, Devin and Abby!! Glad that all is going well and that you haven't been eaten by bears. :) Wade and Erin, read your e-mail regarding St. Louis and let me know if I can help. Wade, Erin, Devin and Abby - "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound." Wade, Erin, Devin and Abby, I know that you got to St. Louis safely, and I know that you will make as big an impact on the people you work with the next several days as you have in CO. Been to Burger King lately? :) I know that you remember to do this, but I saw this verse this morning and thought of all of you. "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalms 46:10 You are all making a huge difference in the lives of others, a pebble thrown in the pond...it will spread to make our world a better and more caring place. I love you all!! Mom :)
